NGLN at the Southern Education Foundation Conference
NGLN Kentucky had the honor of attending the Southern Education Foundation Conference in Atlanta and presented on a panel with students from the South Carolina and Atlanta NGLN sites. The conference was kicked off with Melissa Harris-Perry leading conversations on how to re-imagine education through a lens of equity for all students. Our NGLN sites shined during the panel and articulated their passions for social justice in a performance that was well received by all attendees the second day of the conference. Please reach out to the students and their mentors to discuss their takeaways as the NGLN work continues to deepen. Thank you for supporting the endeavor and I truly look forward to supporting student leadership and voice this year! 🙂
