ABL Rocky Gooch Fellowships
The Andover Bread Loaf Rocky Gooch Fellowships are given to teachers and community activists who work in BLTN Next Gen and in schools and organizations that serve Native Americans. The ABLRGF covers room, board, tuition, books, and travel for participation in the Andover Bread Loaf Writing Workshop’s summer program.
The fellowships are given in honor of Rocky Gooch, who was a major architect of the Bread Loaf Rural Teacher Network, now the Bread Loaf Teacher Network, and who made vital contributions to the development of Andover Bread Loaf. Rocky’s kindness, wisdom, and intelligence have infused BLTN and ABL from their inception.
The 2019 ABL Writing Workshop runs from July 6-20. The application/brochure is online at www.andover.edu/breadloaf. We are reserving 5 spots for NGLN teachers/youth workers, one from each site besides Lawrence. If there are extra spaces, we can take more than one.
