My Experience in Lawrence, Massachusetts

I really loved the time I spent in Lawrence. I learned so much about the city itself and also lots of people in the community. Lawrence is the poorest city and Massachusetts, but the energy in that city is so great and loving! The conference was great, it actually gave Robbie and I an idea to collaborate with each others BSUs and also the Bread Loaf Site to do some workshops and plan an event based on raising awareness on racial issues. I’m so thankful for being able to come on this trip, it opened my eyes up in many ways because it wasn’t the average city or place I’ve been to. This was an awesome experience and I’d love to come back again and do it!

I can’t wait to hear about your experience. You have really come into your own this year. Believe in yourself. We believe in you…you are a world shaker, my man.

We have not met in person, yet – but we do share a commonality – we both love Lawrence! Imagine that, an old gal from the Southwest having something in common with you. 🙂 Yup. It is true. We are also members of BLTN NGLN and that is huge! We are now family. I look forward to meeting you in person and sharing favorite Lawrence stories.
