Embrace This Gift

Our three days at Bread Loaf have been rich in ways that our daily lives often aren’t. Time for long, nuanced conversations. Wading in mountain streams. Being fed delicious and nourishing food and drink, including abundant chocolate milk:) Making new connections on so many levels. Continuing to seek clarity in our purpose as humans, learners, and community members.

Young people: don’t let this gift of time, place, and purpose fizzle out in any way. There are ways to embrace the magic of Bread Loaf once back in our “real” lives because, let’s be honest, being up on the mountain represents a suspension of our various realities back home in our communities. I can’t wait to hear more and learn from you all as this evolves.

  • Paul,
As you head out on your global travels, know that we will continue to ” seek clarity in our purpose as humans, learners, and community members.” You may be on the other side of the planet, but you will remain in our hearts, and hopefully in the network – inspiring, challenging, and supporting the network although you are on your travels. Be safe, friend.
